To get started, contact us and we’ll take care of the setup. We’ll gather your boat details, pricing, availability, and delivery options, then create a draft listing for you to review and approve before it goes live.
Do I need to create the listing myself?
No. We create the listing for you. You’ll review everything, request edits if needed, and approve it before guests can book.
Are bookings instant or request-based?
All boat rental bookings are request-based. You’ll receive each request and can approve or decline it before it’s confirmed.
What types of boats can be listed?
We accept a wide range of boats, including center consoles, bay boats, pontoons, deck boats, deck boats, and other recreational vessels. Availability may vary by location and use type.
Can guests book my boat together with a stay or fishing charter?
Yes. Guests can request your boat as part of a bundled trip alongside a Keys Booking stay or fishing charter, making it easier for them to plan their full Keys trip in one place.
How does availability work?
You control availability. Since bookings are request-based, you always have the final say before a reservation is confirmed.
How are payouts handled?
Once your listing is approved, you’ll receive a secure link to set up payouts. Earnings are sent directly to you after each completed rental.
What fees does Keys Booking charge?
Keys Booking charges a 3% host service fee and a 10% guest service fee. The guest service fee can either be included in your listed price or added on at checkout, based on how you prefer your pricing to appear.
Do you support private dock delivery?
Yes. If you offer private dock delivery, we’ll list it as an optional add-on for guests. You can charge a delivery fee based on the areas you cover.
Can I limit where I deliver boats?
Yes. You choose which areas you deliver to. We’ll reflect it clearly in your listing.
Who sets pricing and rental rules?
You do. You set your rental pricing, delivery fees, minimum rental length, and any boat-specific rules. We handle presenting everything clearly to guests.
What happens when I receive a booking request?
You’ll receive the request details and can approve or decline it. Once approved, the booking is confirmed and shared with the guest.
Can I update my listing after it’s live?
Yes. If you need to update pricing, availability, delivery areas, or boat details, just let us know and we’ll handle the updates.
Is Keys Booking only for the Florida Keys?
Yes. Keys Booking is built specifically for the Florida Keys and Keys travelers.
Is insurance required?
Boat rental hosts are responsible for their own insurance, contracts, and waivers. All insurance documentation and liability agreements are handled directly between the host and the guest, outside of the Keys Booking platform.
